We do not market to self-publishers,
print on demand publishers, or vanity presses. We are not in
any way associated with the self-publishing industry.
We

New York Literary Agency is a part of the Literary Agency Group
(LAG), an umbrella
organization that has acquired various literary
agencies. Many of the other agencies focus on vertical market
niches. Through LAG, we are able to capitalize on the contacts
made by
the agents in our sister agencies as well as our own, and therefore
bring a much better and wider set of contacts to bear for our
